Un omaggio alla montagna, panorami d’infinita bellezza dove l’uomo si spinge alla ricerca di se stesso. La passione per la montagna è uno stile di vita che arricchisce l’anima e suscita determinazione, resilienza e il rispetto per la natura.

Louis Auguste Moore nasce nel 1983 da madre francese e papà americano. Fin da bambino esplora le montagne dell’Alta Savoia con in suoi genitori dai quali eredita la passione per l’alpinismo. Dopo essersi formato alla scuola militare francese continua gli studi a Vancouver per poi stabilirsi a Banff in Alberta.

Appassionato di free ride si dedica alla fotografia professionale viaggiando in solitaria tra le nostre Alpi e il Canada alla ricerca di immagini uniche con le quali racconta la sua passione per la montagna.

Non ama apparire e non utilizza i social networks, comunica con le sue immagini celebrando il silenzio e la bellezza delle vette.

WAVES is a selection of previously unseen photographs by the mountaineer and photographer Louis Auguste Moore.

A tribute to the mountains—vistas of infinite beauty where one ventures forth in search of oneself. A passion for the mountains is a way of life that enriches the soul and fosters determination, resilience, and respect for nature.

Louis Auguste Moore was born in 1983 to a French mother and an American father. From an early age, he explored the mountains of Haute-Savoie with his parents, from whom he inherited his passion for mountaineering. After training at a French military academy, he continued his studies in Vancouver before settling in Banff, Alberta.

A freeride enthusiast, he dedicated himself to professional photography, travelling solo through the Alps and across Canada in pursuit of unique images with which to convey his love of the mountains.

He avoids the limelight and does not use social media; he communicates through his images, celebrating the silence and the beauty of the peaks.
