Cy Twombly was a pioneer of pop art and one of the most important contemporary artists in the world. One of the paintings in the series “Leaving Paphos ringed with waves”, which inaugurated the Athens office of the Gagosian Gallery, was the protagonist of a million dollar lawsuit. Already fascinated by the works of Cy Twombly, in 2009 the contemporary art collector Ronald Perelman decided to buy the artwork at all costs, but then doubted that he had been scammed. In the third episode of "Stories from the art market", a story to understand the importance of being supported by an art advisor in the purchase of an artwork; a consultant who knows the art market and how to recognize an affordable investment to make a fundamental contribution to the creation of a private collection.
