CATHERINE LEO

Visual Artist whose work and research focuses on the relationship between time-based media and the subconscious understood as a container of all the emotions that the elements provoke in the observer, and how this relationship manifests itself both in the personal experience and the collective-social one. In addition to the aesthetic and technical aspects of art as creativity, she focuses on the emotional aspect of it - expanding towards the therapeutic role of art and its healing power. Part of her artistic practice is dedicated to immersive and interactive installations, where the public is guided towards the exploration of their inner world through multi-sensory experiences.

Born in Lyon in 1994. She graduated in Fine Arts from Wimbledon College of Arts (University of the Arts London) after a period of studies and research between London, India and Taiwan. She currently lives and works in Milan.
